the second light added was another point light shining blue light from above, ...
The third added was a pale yellow spotlight from the side and the fourth light a red point light inside the model illuminating parts of the model and skin from within.
A close-up of the combined lighting effect... Notice the additive lighting intenstity of all lights put together with each by themselves comparatively dark lights. The combination of light brings out and emphasizes the three-dimensional character of the model.
